Together with the Climate and Energy Fund, the CCCA brings experts from various disciplines to the table to discuss current research trends, needs, implementation experiences, and relevant topics. The focus is primarily on the question of what bridges need to be built to transfer research findings more effectively into practice, thereby increasing the societal impact of climate impact research.
Based on the perspectives of researchers within the CCCA network, a dialogue is initiated with experts from the Climate and Energy Fund on various key questions. The resulting insights are compiled into an internal analysis and documented in a comprehensive report. This report consolidates opportunities, perspectives, points of connection for implementation, innovative format ideas, and strengths, as well as desiderata, risks, and suggestions for improvement. The roundtables thus serve as a platform for exchange between research funding and science. Their outcomes contribute to promoting evidence-based and tailored decision-making and supporting their implementation
