With 'City Oases' you can now discover the cool sides of Vienna. 'City Oases' was developed by the environmental protection organization Global 2000 together with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and the Federal Environment Agency. "What you can see at a glance is that especially the places that have greenery are cool. Of course, places that combine greenery and water are particularly attractive," Martin Wildenberg of Global 2000 told Radio Wien. "City Oases" is available for both Android and Apple devices.

The electricityMap is developed and maintained by Tomorrow, a Danish/French start-up company. The goal is to help humanity achieve a sustainable state of existence by quantifying the climate impact of everyday choices and making it widely accessible.

The energie-führerschein offers young people aged 12-20 the chance to learn more about saving energy. It is about behavior in everyday life as well as in professional life. At the end of three half-days, successful participants receive a certificate, the "energie-führerschein".

This idea was awarded the Austrian Climate Protection Prize last year.This year, an accompanying APP has been released and is available free of charge in the Apple and Google stores. With #rettedeineinsel, you can test your knowledge and thereby playfully beautify your own island.
