Scientists call on OECD countries: Put less meat on the table at COP25 to tackle the climate emergency!

We are living in a climate emergency. We need to drastically and urgently reduce the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, to maintain a safe climate and planet for us and future generations.

The website https://www.scientists4lessmeat.org/ is now live, hosting the letter lead by Prof. Pete Smith address OECD countries to consider the need for reducing the consumption of meat and dairy within global climate negotiations, including UNFCCC. So far, 93 scientists from 16 countries have added their name to this initiative. Thanks for adding your name to it, and it is not too late to sign it here, and invite others to do so. (The list will be updated at 3pm CET today, and everyday this and next week).
