Two Virtual Mobility (VM) Grant opportunities are currently open through SHiFT-Cost - a transdisciplinary initiative addressing societal transformations in the face of climate change. These grants provide researchers and innovators with the chance to collaborate virtually and exchange knowledge. It brings together researchers, practitioners, and networks to explore innovative approaches across social, political, economic, environmental, and technological contexts.
These grants offer a valuable opportunity to contribute to meaningful research and innovation while advancing your skills and expertise. 1. Virtual Mobility Grant: Young Research Council (YRC) Podcast Hosting
The SHiFT YRC Podcast is a career development and interview style podcast. It is aimed at early career researchers or professionals with various sustainability related topics who would like to hear about the career journeys of other professionals. The aim of this call is to find two experienced podcast hosts (one male and one female), who will co-host monthly episodes of the SHiFT YRC Podcast for the duration of the grant period. The required skills are: 1) Previous experience as a podcast host, interviewer, moderator, or in a comparable format. 2) Strong communication and interviewing skills. 3) Familiarity with sustainability-related topics or professional career development (desirable but not mandatory). 4) Ability to work collaboratively as co-host and with a broader production team.
The application deadline is February 6, 2026. The mission period runs from February 13, 2026, to September 1, 2026, and the grant offers financial support of up to €500 for each grant holder.

2. Virtual Mobility Grant: Young Researchs Council (YRC) Podcast Editing
The SHiFT YRC Podcast is a career development and interview style podcast. It is aimed at early career researchers or professionals with various sustainability related topics who would like to hear about the career journeys of other professionals. The SHiFT YRC is seeking an experienced podcast editor capable of managing both sound and video post-production in close collaboration with the YRC team. One podcast episode per month for the duration of the grant period has to edited.
Applicants should have expertise in foresight methods related to sustainability and experience in developing and delivering webinars. The application deadline is February 6, 2026. The mission period runs from February 23 2026, to September 1, 2026, and the grant offers financial support of up to €500.
