Application for the „Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (AEMS, 5 ECTS)“ Summer University is now open!
AEMS is open to motivated applicants from all fields of study and focuses on alternatives to the economic status quo. The program follows an interdisciplinary and holistic approach: International participants deal with limits of growth, as well as the instabilities of our financial system and learn why a drastic system change is necessary to stabilize the world climate at 1.5°C – and most importantly: they are presented with an array of alternative approaches!

Die AEMS Summer University steht motivierten Bewerber*innen aller Studienrichtungen offen und fokussiert die Vermittlung von Alternativen zum wirtschaftlichen Status quo. Die internationalen Teilnehmer*innen beschäftigen sich mit den Grenzen des Wachstums, sowie den Instabilitäten des Finanzsystems und lernen, warum ein drastischer Systemwandel zur Stabilisierung des Weltklimas auf 1,5°C notwendig ist. Über ein interdisziplinär und holistisch orientiertes Programm lernen sie dabei verschiedene Lösungsansätze kennen.
