Warren Leon is the Executive Director of the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA), a nonprofit organization in the United States that works to advance clean energy policies, foster innovation, and support the implementation of renewable energy programs at the state level. At CESA, Leon leads efforts to promote collaboration among state governments, share best practices, and advocate for effective clean energy strategies. His expertise covers state-level clean energy policy, with a focus on decentralized energy systems, incentive structures for renewable energy, and energy storage. He frequently provides insights on grid modernization, the development of smart grids, and integrating community energy initiatives, such as shared solar projects. Leon also shares lessons from U.S. states on financing clean energy projects, fostering job creation in the clean energy sector, and ensuring equitable access to renewable energy programs.

Before his tenure at CESA, Leon held senior roles in environmental organizations and is an accomplished author of reports and books on clean energy and sustainability.
