UniNEtZ SDG 13

The project "UniNEtZ - Universities and Sustainable Development Goals" networks universities and other scientific partner institutions to work together on the fulfillment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UniNEtZ aims, among other things, to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation across universities, to make a significant contribution to sustainable development in Austria and to anchor sustainable development in research and teaching at universities.

To this end, more than 300 scientists, artists and students from 16 universities, the Geological Survey of Austria (GBA), the Climate Change Centre Austria (CCCA) and the student association forum n worked out about 150 options and about 1000 measures to achieve the SDGs over a period of three years (2019-2021) and compiled them in a comprehensive report.

The UniNEtZ Options Report: "Austria's Options for Action to Implement the UN 2030 Agenda for a Livable Future" was handed over to the Austrian Federal Government on March 1, 2022.
